Dia de los Muertos
This was our Day of the Dead project. The history behind it was that the Spanish invaded the Aztec people and took over and made them believe in what the Spanish believed. When it came close to Dia de los Muertos, the Spanish told the Aztec, "Oh, you guys celebrate the dead too, Wow, so do we!" That is how the Spanish believed they could get the Aztecs' trust. Now, fast forward to today, people celebrate this day for the dead. So, I chose to celebrate this day by honoring my uncle Scott in the obituary above.
La Calavera
This was our Calavera project where we picked a person and made a short story of how they died. I picked a man named Naruto Uzumaki and tried to explain in Spanish the best way I could how he died and it pretty much says he died defending his village (Village Hidden in the Leafs) against a bad guy.
La Receta con Mandatos
We did this project to learn how to say commands in spanish. I feel like I could've done waaaaaaay better because when I made the food I didn't take any pictures so i had to take them of the interent.
